Starting at the age of 15, Kevin Brost is a 32 year veteran in the Fire & EMS service. On the fire department side he has held every position from Explorer, all the way to Fire Chief. On the Emergency Medical Service side through the Texas Department of Health he has held the certifications of ECA, EMT-B, and is currently an EMT-A. His first experience at the Plano Fire Department for 5 years, joining the Brazos County Fire Department in College Station to become the Fire Chief for 11 years, and a 25 year member of the Spring Fire Department where he has held the rank as high as Deputy Chief, and also a first responder for Harris County ESD-11 for 25 years, Kevin knows first hand the needs of the first responders in the area. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, and raised in the north Dallas suburb of Plano, Kevin graduated from Plano Senior High to move on to get his BS degree from Texas A&M University in Business Management. Starting his first business at the age of 11 selling electronic equipment in Car & Driver, Motor Trend, and other magazines, has now owned his second business for 30 years, Command Communications, which is the largest new & refurbished communications & emergency warning equipment company in the world. Kevin serves on several local and national advisory boards, and also enjoys hunting, fishing, snow skiing, and hanging out in the Rocky Mountains. Kevin, his wife Camille, and their 6 year old boy Benjamin, have lived in the NW Spring area for the past 15 years.
